Simple and Lovely

Aaron created this simple and lovely arrangement all by himself.  He made four of them to be used as centerpieces for our Easter lunch tables.  As he worked he commented, "They look so nice!" and "Daddy will like these!".  Doesn't it look adorable sitting on the made-over table?

Starting Small

"One Man's Trash is Another Man's Treasure" is the name of the flea market right here in my hometown and was the inspiration for the title of my new blog.  It is also where I found this first piece.  I have always enjoyed flea market-ing and garage sale-ing.  My grandmother, Mama Del, has always called it "garbage sale-ing".  It is so fun to find something with potential and help it to fulfill that potential. 

I am "starting small" with my first project to be featured here.  I love this cute little table and wanted to give it a fresh look.
